The value of bees to mankind

A young, newly qualified doctor in Russia, Dr Alexander Goroshit, was doing his medical internship in Tashkent in the early 1970’s when there was a cholera outbreak. He found two households with no cholera, and wanted to know why. He found that the fathers were beekeepers and fed their families honey.

This piqued the doctor’s interest so much that he gave up his medical career and started studying apitherapy, the study of bees.

He went to Israel and developed what is now the LifeMel range of products that are 100% natural with no additives.

We know of no other company that infuses the bees with specific herbal extracts to produce an enhanced version of “honey”, that is a dietary or nutritional supplement. Each product is designed to address particular health issues. This is what makes the products UNIQUE. There are companies that ADD herbs to honey; but their products lack the magic that the bees indisputably bring when they ingest these herbs.

LifeMel is the most well known of the products. It is for cancer patients undergoing chemo or radiation. These cancer treatments often cause blood cell counts to go down, many times to dangerously low levels. LifeMel can help to improve the blood cell counts, and more, but most importantly it helps to improve the person’s general well being. I have met cancer patients who have succumbed to the side effects of chemo; there was not a proper INTEGRATIVE approach to their treatment. There are oncology centres that are applying a more holistic approach to a chemo/radiation patients’ treatment, but they are still a minority.
